Clear Lake is one of our oldest band tunes. The song was written after a canoe trip, most of it on Clear Lake in northern Ontario. A simple text that portrays the stillness and the wildness of the remarkable north.

Lyrics
CLEAR LAKE
Clear Lake
Charcoal and liquid
I breakwater
The stillness is mine
This outsider
Adrift I
Move on this watercolour
So fine
White bellies flash
In the heart of the deep
Two hawks hover
Mirrored free
One cries in chance
Two scream down the wind
They eye my life
Wing away again
Clear Lake
Charcoal and liquid.
